Classes begin August 6 at the New Lenox Aikido Club, new sibling to Inaka Dojo. Inaka Dojo members should speak with Whited sensei about the arrangements in place for training there.
Extended training August 28: Inaka Dojo will hold its usually scheduled class from 10 am through noon on Saturday, August 28 then return for class from 2 - 4 pm. The afternoon session is open to 3rd kyu and up only. This day is dedicated to higher level practice which should include tachi dori, jo dori, tanto dori and ran dori. Please bring your weapons.; The fee is $25 for the day.; Let us know if you think you are planning to come and play.
Saotome Shihan calligraphy reproductions: Reproductions of calligraphy by Saotome Shihan are currently available from Chicago Aikikai. See the flier on the bulletin board or talk to Kay if you'd like to see the calligraphy. If there's enough interest, we'll arrange to pick them up at the Chicago Aikikai and save shipping costs.
